Signal Conditioners have progressed over the years to become mainstream protection front ends for PLC and DCS control systems. Providing signal isolation and protection from the harsh plant conditions in marshalling and field termination cabinets keeping the control equipment in more controlled environment.

Sometimes though the analogue signal computations and required signal manipulation are better implemented in the signal loops closer to the process and this is where the Omniterm Function Synthesizer (TFX) comes to the fore with a host of features and functions.

Tank Linearization functions cover Cylindrical and Spherical Tanks but Non Uniform Tanks can be linearized with a 32 point strapping table.
