The Maxiflex SOE (Sequence of Events ) System is a sequential events recording system and integrates with Omni4000 PC based Alarm Management supervisory HMI stations or any OPC compliant SCADA. The system comprises Maxiflex Modules for the I/O front end and Conet Classic (Twisted Pair) or Conet/e (Ethernet) LAN connections to HMI supervisory systems for recording of events. The Maxiflex M1760 32 SOE Module monitors 32 Digital Inputs and creates time stamped events to a resolution of 0.2 ms upon change of state and can be scaled up to 1440 digital inputs!

Complete Solutions for Safety Critical Alarm Monitoring

Safety Critical Alarm monitoring systems require SIL/SHE Alarms to be hard wired. This can be done over copper cables however it is becoming more common on plants today to use fibre optic cables due to the benefits this provides.
Omniflex provide the complete sitewide alarm managements system in accordance to the requirements of IEC61508 and EEMUA 191 standards. These systems include the conditioning of the front end process signal through SIL rated Trip amplifiers and transmits these alarms over copper cable or via SIL rated Fibre optic Transmitters/Receivers (where Fibre optic cable is used) into SIL rated Alarm Annunciators and Sub 1 millisecond Sequence of Event Recorders.
