Remote Monitoring applications sometimes require the monitoring systems to be installed at key sites (spread over a few hundred square kilometres) and these sites can be subject to vandalism, tampering or theft.
Omniflex has successfully solved this problem by introducing vandal-proofed solar powered monitoring stations which operate independently of it's surroundings.
The robust nature of the design makes theft very difficult and also buys time in mobilisation of security to remote sites to catch thieves and vandals in the act. Instrumentation wiring to external sensors is via channels inside the concrete and steel tubing.
