Replacement Alarm system is a huge success for Power Station
With an unrivaled track record in providing flexible, retro-fit and cost effective alarm replacement systems to the industry, Omniflex were awarded the project to replace the obsolete Clifford and Snell/Babcock Alarm Annunciators.
Using the ultra versatile Maxilarm distributed alarm annunciator system with SOE (Sequence of Events) input modules provided time-stamp alarm inputs to sub 1 millisecond resolution (the fastest in the industry) whilst offering interfacing to the power stations existing APMS (Advanced Plant Management system) via Ethernet.
By providing the alarm annunciators on bespoke fabricated plates allowed them to be easily & conveniently tested off site for them to be later installed with minimum disruption to existing wiring. This guaranteed installation and commissioning of the system in an incredibly short space of time during the Power Stations outage period.
