Making Operators a Reliable Link in Managing Plant Safety
The role of an operator can be sometimes seen as a drawback in managing plant safety, mainly because of basic unreliability of human actions. However it is true to say that operators can play a very important role.
The operators actions have a broader impact on managing the plant safely, such as getting to the root causes of problems, dealing with unexpected events and 
preventing these from escalating further, thus making the plant safer.
We would like to share with you the following white paper, which by invitation was presented to Evaluation International and Sellafield Limited Alarm Steering Group Committee.
